Jan Lebert, who has been a PhD student in the Cardiac Vision Lab over the past 4 years, has succesfully defended his PhD thesis. His defense was attended by nearly 50 people, including many experts from the field. Jan Lebert obtained his PhD in the field of 'Physics of Biological and Complex Systems' and specialized on predicting electromechanical dynamics during heart rhythm disorders using deep learning. His doctoral work was outstanding and was awarded a 'Summa Cum Laude'! Congratulations!
