Our new paper 'Panoramic Voltage-sensitive Optical Mapping of Contracting Hearts using Cooperative Multiview Motion Tracking with 12 Cameras' by Chowdhary & Lebert et al. was published in The Journal of Physiology. In this study, we developed a novel panoramic 3D optical mapping system that enables imaging of action potential waves across the strongly deforming surface of an isolated heart. Our imaging system provides unprecedented measurement data of action potential duration and contractile changes during sinus rhythm, electromechanical waves during ventricular pacing, and electromechanical vortices during ventricular fibrillation.
